Just watched the Fox News/Google debate online. Only at a GOP debate could the crowd boo an active duty soldier and no politician on the stage nor any moderator nor even any analyst afterwards even acknowledges it happened.

If a Democratic crowd booed a burnt apple pie we would hear about it for days.

    Are you sure this is news? I see no discussion of this topic on AMG.

    The solider was respectful…the reaction of the crowd is offensive. Here is this man, fighting for our freedom…laying his life on the line. He can’t ask a question without being booed? Bull crap. Yeah, conservatives support our troops unless they are gay/lesbian soliders.

    @jimv, I didn’t even notice a debate thread, period.

    But to save them the trouble, here is my summary: Romney was the only one who didn’t seem nuts. Thus, he won.

    I didn’t watch the GOP debate.

    What did the soldier ask that merited the boos?

    The guy video-called from Iraq, said he was gay, then asked if the candidates would reinstate don’t ask don’t tell.
